Long Time- No Blog

Well hello there, Ahem HELLLOOOO!

Not sure anyone is out there still but now that I have high-speed internet I am determined to start blogging again :] Since last post a lot has happened, and I mean a lot! We have moved to a new house on the Price Ranch. Buck still works for the same outfit but is now taking care of lots of cows (& their babies awwwwwww). I have graduated college and have a new job at the Bank of Colorado in Yuma. I really love it at our new house and love my new job. Buck is pretty happy as well to be away from the feedlot and the fields. I have some plans of things I want to post but since it is a little late I will just add some pics of the cows & calves I took today. As for the rest... STAY TUNED!!! :]

Visitors!!

Last week we had some visitors from Kansas! Buck's mom and sister and two nephews came down for a couple days! We had such a great time with them and were sad to see them leave.. Buck took the boys riding and they loved it! Traci took some awesome pictures and we even had a little tlee divine photo shoot! The boys absolutely adore Buck it is so cute to see how excited they get to go to "work" with him. It is so crazy how we live in the middle of nowhere and there is nothing to do but we always find a way to have a great time. Here are some pics from their visit.. Love you guys!!!

In traditional family reunion fashion, Traci and Buck dressed up Hayden when he was sleeping. Those poor boys sleep way too hard for their own good. We had the lights on and flashes in their face for a good 10 minutes!

Case got dressed up the next night but unfortunately I didn't get any of those pictures!

Last weekend I went to Kimball with my mom and sister to see my grandma and we went out to the farm to see my Uncle Marty and Aunt Barb and their kids. While we were there Marty gave us a little welding lesson... this is one of the signs in the shop!!

So to make this even more of a combination/catch up post here are a few pics from a few weekends ago when I hosted a girls night at my house! AKA the "Fab 4 Reunion" :] 3 of my best friends from high school made the trip down to "God's country" to hang out! Oh.. and I sent Buck off to La Junta with his friends. Unfortunately no pictures from that side which is a real bummer since he came back with a broken finger, bruised leg, and the NEW shirt I just got him covered in cow poop and blood! Maybe I'd rather not know... :]

Well although I should be updating my blog I have been studying for finals which are coming up next week! Finance and Law, any takers? Bathtime!

So.. I decided to post this even though I don't have many pictures since Buck was at work I had to go at it alone! It has been raining and soo muddy here and I just gave Zip a bath last week but of course he had to go get dirty again! The tip of his tail is usually white but was turning a gross brown color YUCK! and since Jenni and Jennifer are on their way here now I decided he better get cleaned up! THe best part about giving Zip a bath is he goes crazy afterwards running jumping and rolling all over... Cute! but a pain he's really big to try to keep in the tub. I'm so glad my innocent little Newman never gets into mud ;]

Hooray!

Hooray! I got a dishwasher! I am so excited, we haven't had a working dishwasher the whole time we have been here and the other day our landlord decided to get us a new one! One thing I hate for sure is doing dishes by hand, just one of those pet peeves :] The only thing bad about this whole situation is that the dishwasher isn't installed. I spent 3 hours yesterday trying to put it together but I am scared of the electricity part so Buck is going to try again tomorrow. So I took pictures of it sitting in the kitchen.

Well...

I finally had the patience to try a few different things and I got this thing to upload my pictures! I had tried like 5 times before and it always messed up! It took two hours but I got them all loaded even if they are super tiny!

Here are some pics from my birthday and some other random ones! Buck and I went to downtown Denver the first weekend in April to celebrate my birthday. We went to an Avalanche (hockey) game and stayed in a nice hotel and just hung out! It was really fun and nice to get away for a couple days.

She used one of the pictures from Jenni's wedding by Kimberly Bee as her guide. Sometimes I wonder how both my sisters are so artistic and I didn't get those genes! :]

A superbowl fit for saints!

Well I know you are all probably freaking out a bit because YES- I am making a second post within one month's time :] Last weekend we had some friends over for the Super Bowl.. well more like extended family haha. Will, Ty, Zac, and Stacy joined us for the game which turned into a dance party, horse talk, and overall a good night!

I have been in a football pool down here with around 15-20 other people that live in the boonies and although I didn't start right away I have been kickin those farm boys butts haha anddd... as a result we have been watching more football trying to keep track of my picks! I didn't win last week in the pool but I did want the Saints to win! Sorry you Indy fans :] anyway enough football.. we have been busy this week Buck has been re-implanting calves, hauling bales, and all sorts of stuff and I had a crazy week at school. I had to give a speech Tuesday and big test on Thursday... yuck!

Another thing that happened since my last post... and I guess I will finally admit that I am a little excited...I was invited to join Beta Gamma Sigma which is like an honor society and is the highest recognition for a business student in the world. I wasn't going to tell anybody but Buck already told my family and friends so I guess the secret's out. I am so lucky to have a great support system that has helped me be successful in my academics. I love you all!
